Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to HaruKorean.com! Please read our conditions of use carefully. By signing up and becoming a member, you are accepting these conditions.

General Conditions

1. HaruKorean.com is a website where you can practice making sentences in Korean and get corrections. Not every sentence you write for practice has to be a true statement, but sentences that can insult or humiliate other users can be deleted by admin of the website.

2. There are three types of memberships: paying subscriber account, native Korean speaker account and non-paying free account. Some of the lesson notes can be made available for all the account types, but lesson audio and video clips are only available to view for paying subscribers.

3. You must provide a valid email address and you can only create one account for one email address. You may sign up with another email address to create a new account.

4. Your account may only be used by you. You can't share your account with multiple people. If you share your login information with other people, HaruKorean admin is not responsible for any technical errors or duplicated sentences posted by your account, both on the site and on your social networks.

5. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Therefore when you fail to do so and someone else continues to post sentences or comments irrelevant to the certain lesson or unwanted advertisement, your account can be suspended.

6. You can only listen to or watch the lesson audio/video clips on the website or on your mobile device through an Internet connection. You can not download certain lessons to your computer or mobile device.

Copyright and Content Ownership

1. HaruKorean.com reserves all the rights for the lesson content published on the website. You may not copy and reuse the lessons, including the audio/video clips, lesson notes and images, without permission.

2. HaruKorean.com does not reserve any copyright for the practice sentences and comments you write on the website.

3. The practice sentences you write after studying a lesson should be your own, but neither you nor the admin has the right to ban other users from using parts of your practice sentences or modifying them to form new sentences for their own practice.

Payment and Refunds

1. At sign-up, you are given five options to choose from. You can choose to pay for (1) a single-month subscription, (2) automatically renewed monthly subscription, (3) automatically renewed six-month subscription or (4) automatically renewed yearly subscription, or you can choose to have (5) a free account. You will be notified ahead of time via email both when you pay for a new subscription and when your subscription is expiring or being renewed.

2. Single-month subscriptions are not refundable. When you sign up for a six-month or a one-year subscription, if you request a refund within two weeks of subscription, you will get a refund minus the subscription fee ($5.99 USD) for a month.

3. Six-month and yearly subscriptions will be renewed automatically at the end of your subscription term. If your account gets automatically renewed without your knowledge and you don't want to continue your subscription, you can let the admin know this via email within two weeks to get a full refund.

4. A valid payment method is required for paying for your subscription. You can use your credit card or a PayPal account. You do not need to pay if you want to keep a free account.

5. If your subscription expires and your account becomes a free account, you will still be able to browse through lessons and see your past sentences, but you won't be able to listen to or watch the audio/video lessons and you won't be able to write practice sentences or get corrections from native speakers.

HaruKorean.com에 오신 것을 환영합니다. 웹사이트를 사용하시기 전에 이용 약관을 꼼꼼히 읽어 주세요. 길지 않습니다. 회원 가입을 하시고 사이트를 이용하시면, 이용 약관에 동의하시는 것으로 간주됩니다.

사이트 이용 전반

1. HaruKorean.com은 외국인 학습자들의 한국어 학습을 위해 만들어진 웹사이트입니다. 웹사이트에서 제공되는 한국어 레슨으로 한국어를 공부한 후, 학습자들이 연습 문장을 직접 만들어 남기면, 한국어 원어민 회원들이 문장에 대한 교정을 해 주는 것이 HaruKorean.com의 기본 활동 구조입니다. 학습자들이 작성한 문장이나 한국어 원어민 회원들이 작성한 교정 문장이 실제 사실에 근거를 둔 문장일 필요는 없으나, 다른 사용자들을 모욕하거나 언짢게 할 수 있는 문장들은 관리자에 의해 삭제될 수 있습니다.

2. 유료 학습자 계정, 한국어 원어민 계정, 그리고 무료 학습자 계정의 세 가지 종류의 계정이 있으며, 한국어 원어민 계정은 사용료를 지불할 필요가 없는 무료 계정입니다.

3. 일부 레슨 노트의 경우 모든 계정에서 열람 가능하지만, 기본적으로 비디오와 오디오 레슨의 내용은 유료 학습자 계정에서만 열람할 수 있습니다.

4. 유효한 이메일 주소를 이용해서 가입하셔야 하며, 하나의 이메일 주소로는 하나의 계정만 만드실 수 있습니다. 새로운 계정이 필요하신 경우에는 새로운 이메일 주소를 사용해 주세요.

5. HaruKorean.com에서는 이메일 주소와 실명 이외의 다른 개인 정보는 수집하지 않습니다. 가입 신청을 하신 후 이메일로 발송된 "가입 확인" 링크를 클릭하셔야 계정을 생성하실 수 있습니다.

6. 페이스북과 트위터의 계정을 HaruKorean.com과 연동하셔도, 사용자가 직접 문장이나 레슨을 공유할 때가 아니면 HaruKorean에서 무단으로 사용자의 페이스북이나 트위터에 글을 등록하지 않습니다.

7. 생성하신 계정은 타인과 공동 이용하실 수 없습니다. 로그인 정보를 타인에게 공개하셨을 경우 발생하는 에러나 중복된 문장 등록 등으로 인한 불이익에 대해서는 관리자가 책임져 드릴 수 없습니다.

8. 레슨과 관련 없는 스팸성 텍스트나 광고글을 지속적으로 등록하는 계정에 대해서는 이용 정지 조치를 취할 수 있습니다.
